Room Description
There are 400 comfortable rooms of different typologies: single, double, triple, one-roomed quadruple rooms and two-roomed quadruple rooms (2 double interconnecting rooms with 2 bathrooms). All of them are equipped with private bathroom, independent air conditioning, tv, telephone, minibar (on request and to be paid on the spot), terrace.
Services & Activities
2 bars, one poolside and the other one overlooking the panoramic terrace. There is also a bar on the beach for refreshments. There are conference rooms (from 40 up to 250 seats), private unattended car parking, boutique, shop of typical products, bazar, newspapers, safe. The service at the restaurant is buffet service; tables are assigned at arrival. New Mum&Baby Kitchen (included in the “Pollicino Card”): wide equipped room, at parents disposal 24 hours, equipped with high chairs, crockery, microwave, mixer, dishwasher. Every day the chef will be glad to prepare for the babies: clear broth, cream of vegetable soup, tomato sauce, pre-cooked food, boiled meat and fish. At disposal in addition: baby food in jars, olive oil, grated parmesan cheese, fresh milk, a wide range of small size pastas. At scheduled times an assistant will be available to help mothers for every need.
Amphitheatre for shows; 2 swimming pools (one for adults with whirlpool and solarium zone and one for kids); soccer pitch (five -a– side), basketball and volleyball pitch, 4 tennis courts, 2 bowling greens, beach volley pitch. The fleet of boats is equipped with sailing boats (2 to 5 seats) and catamarans.
Birba World 2009: Baby Birba (4-8 years old) and Birba Junior (9-12 years old) clubs are available. It is possible to choose the Club Formula (from h 9,00 to 18,00) or the Village Formula (open access). Every week the entertainers suggest several activities: games, sports, creative and expressive activities. The Club Explora has an entertainment specifically addressed for children from 13 to 17 years old (from 28/06 to 30/08).
The Club proposes always ideas to socialize. At the cheerful “BIRB’AR”, it is possible to have snacks and cocktails in the “BIRBA style” and it is possible to have lunch with the entertainers at the BIRBA restaurant, with menus that are studied and realized just for children. (It is necessary to make the reservation on the spot, free access).
Club Card includes: use of the swimming pool of 1500 sqm with whirlpool and solarium, swimming pool for kids; sport and entertainment with tournaments and sport activities; collective courses of canoe, sail, windsurf, tennis, archery, ping pong, jogging, gym and aerobics; day use of the sport pitches; Baby Birba, Birba Junior and Club Explore (in July and August); evening entertainment with shows in the amphitheatre and, at the same time, dance, music at the terrace bar; late in the evening, group dancings, theme games and parties; beach service (beach of fine and white sand reachable with crossover or with the nice shuttle train) with 2 sunbeds and 1 beach umbrella for each family.
Included in the “Pollicino Card”: baby cot, access to the Mum&Baby Kitchen or meals at the buffet in the restaurant and access to the new playground “Pollicino Garden”.
