Description
The ancient Palazzo of Count Gattini is situated in the heart of the ancient town of Matera, in a unique position. It is at walking distance from all the main historical and cultural places of interest, museums, squares and monuments. The restoration of the building preserved the architectural and historical features of the interiors and of the XVII century facade.

Room Description
Palazzo Gattini has 20 luxury rooms divided into 10 Deluxe rooms, 4 Junior Suite, 6 Suite, of which one has a private swimming pool on the terrace with a splendid view of the Sassi district. In the rooms art, history and culture are blended in the precious furniture and refined fabrics.

Services & Activities
In the palace there is a particular Wine Bar located in the old wine cellars that were carved in the tufa rock. The Wellness Centre is in the oldest parts of the complex, between ancient cisterns where rock on which the building rests is clearly visible. The Wellness Centre offers Spa facilities, hammam, an elegant relaxation area and numerous rooms for beauty treatments. In the centre it is also possible to have rasul muds and several typologies of massages and, in particular, oriental and Ayurvedic ones. Other amenities include an equipped Meeting room with 50 seats.
