Description
Marina di Ugento is a seaside locality with a great touristic vocation, thanks to its crystal-clear sea with tropical colours. Since it was a stronghold of the ancient Roman, the area is rich of monuments, crypts and grottoes. It is in the middle between Gallipoli and Santa Maria di Leuca and, thus from the resort it is easy to reach the artistical destinations of Salento. Both the hotels enjoy a splendid position; they are at few metres from the sea and overlook a small harbour.

Hotel Calos: There are 42 rooms in the central building. All of them are equipped of bathroom with shower, hairdryer, minibar, TV-Color, direct dial phone, air conditioning. Wide car parking and panoramic terrace. New outdoor swimming pool with romantic view on the harbour and the coast. Hotel Callyon: The hotel is renowned for its privacy. It is far just 50 metres from Hotel Calos and has 22 rooms. Guests can use all the service of Hotel Calos. Rooms are equipped of ensuite bathroom, Tv-color, air conditioning, minibar, phone, bath with shower and hairdryer. Rooms at ground floor have a characteristic garden. In some rooms it is possible to notice the particular care in the reinterpretation of the architectural tradition, like the vaultls in carparo-pietra leccese.

Hotel Calos has a welcoming hall, a Tv room with satellite aerial, breakfast room, restaurant room, bar, reception 24 hours, tavern, caveau with safes for guests. All the rooms and areas are with air conditioning. Guests of Callyon can use the restaurant room and the roof garden of the Hotel Calos, and a new swimming pool, a private and equipped beach and car parking as well. For breakfast there is a rich buffet, while lunch and dinner are served at table with tasty alternatives of 2 first courses and 2 second dishes, fruit and dessert: the cuisine is national, but mainly regional. During the week there are several activities: on Tuesday a typical evening with local dishes and typical dances of Salento, on Friday gala dinner with unique and particular menu. Club Card, that is mandatory from 06/06 to 12/09, includes: shuttle service from and to sandy and equipped beach, 1 beach umbrella, 1 deckchair and 1 sunbed per room, wooden gazebo for beverages and snacks.
